- The Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC) in the ATOTO S8 intuitively adjusts the system's volume in response to changes in vehicle speed, countering road and wind noise at speeds of 50mph and above, using sophisticated software algorithms guided by GPS positioning. The S8 introduces 6 touch gestures, allowing quick two-finger or three-finger taps to access the multi-task menu, switch among 9 preset EQ modes, adjust screen brightness, and more. Additionally, it supports split-screen display.
- The ATOTO S8's Dual Bluetooth allows for multi-connections with phone and other BT devices simultaneously. BT2 connects for internet or pairs with OBD2 devices for engine diagnostics. BT1 manages handsfree calls, A2DP audio, and activates voice assistants like Siri or Google, also enabling screen lock/unlock for privacy. It supports both wired and wireless Android Auto and CarPlay, ensuring seamless phone integration.
- The ATOTO S8 (Gen2) Standard pairs with ATOTO AC-HD02LR or AC-HD03LR (with Virtual Surround View) cameras, offering an HD rearview image and Live RearView (LRV). This feature allows access to rearview even when moving forward, eliminating visual obstructions from passengers, headrests, and vehicle pillars, thus enhancing the field of view and reducing blind spots. Its 178° full-viewing angle IPS display enhances contrast, significantly improving daylight viewing.
- The S8G2A74SD uses the UDH07D mounting style, a Universal Double-DIN Headunit with a 7-inch display, compatible with nearly all double-DIN dash kits for a seamless, integrated appearance.
