The display itself is sharp, colorful, and fairly responsive, though it occasionally experiences some minor delays—nothing too serious, but noticeable if you’re used to an OEM display. The interface could be more intuitive and straightforward, especially when compared to the built-in system in my Hyundai SUV, but it still gets the job done. Had this Android Auto display installed on an old Camry replacing it’s original radio, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. It comes with installation instructions… but one look at all the wiring, brackets, and screws… and I just took it to my mechanic to get the display and backup camera installed. I kick the tires if the engine doesn’t start… so…Anyway, having wireless Android Auto is a big plus especially on a larger screen than my phone. The screen is sharp, colorful, and pretty responsive… sometimes there are noticeable delays/lag… but that’s compared to my onboard display on my Hyundai SUV. I’d say the user experience/interface is not as straightforward, intuitive, or smooth either but again that’s compared to an OEM touchscreen display. The backup camera is great to have, the resolution is OK, I guess it’s only 1080p considering there are much higher resolution cameras on the market these days.Overall, very convenient, better than the stock radio or the displays you stick on top of your dash… nice clean install. I’m happy with it, it’s a great option for older cars without onboard displays.

At the time, I thought that the radio in my Chevy truck could not get any better. I mean, five different speakers, a separate subwoofer, small amp and a host of "radio features" that came with the truck. I was impressed - until recently. After receiving the Atoto A5 Series Unit, I realize I have been living in the Stone Age. This head unit is nothing short of amazing!First, I must tell you, the unit has not been permanently installed in the truck yet. I have decided to opt for a professional installation, due to the complexity of hooking everything up - and having everything work! I understand that most of the connections are "plug and play", but that still leaves a lot of room for me to do something wrong. I would rather have someone who has done this many times before, make the final connections. But here is what I have discovered to date...The unit is supplied with everything you need. For example, rather that having to use the old brackets that the existing head unit is using, the Atoto kit provides you with a new seton mounting brackets, double-din brackets, and a complete package of hardware screws - three different sizes in total. All brackets are solid and heavy-duty - very difficult to bend in hand.Counting the backup camera and the GPS antenna, I count six different wire sets or wiring harnesses that need to be connected. To their great credit, all cables are individually labeled - very nice feature!As with most manufactures these days, you need to download the manuals and installation instructions from their site.The instructions are clear and diagrams well labeled. A few key features that I am liking are... built in mic, used for bluetooth handsfree and for Voice Commands.An audio AUX input via a very standard 3.5mm jack. (I have one friend who will not look at a device unless it has a 3.5mm audio jack...)The unit also has a micro SD card slot. Really nice! No more CD's!The inclusion of six "hard buttons" is wonderful. Personally, I far prefer hard buttons for a least a few key features, and these buttons are those "short throw" kind. You gently push the button and with little effort, you get a gentle "click" back. It's very good feedback.One of the best features of this head unit, is the warranty. A total of 18 months! Plus, an on-going customer services branch, to help with any installation or programming issues you may come up with.Bottom Line - I am excited to getting this unit installed soon! It offers far better performance numbers than my stock Chevy radio, along with far more features. For example, the stock radio comes with three different EQ adjustments - that's it. The Atoto? Twelve! As well as a much greater range, too! That's just one example of the rich technical advances this unit has over others! Again, this unit is simply remarkable!

If you're looking for a cheap way to modernize your old car and this is the best way to do it. This is doubled in car stereo has everything you need to bring your car up to spec. The Siri itself is a 7-inch screen with wireless carplay and Android auto. It's a mechlace stereo so it does not have a built-in CD player but the car play features are well worth it. To install this radio you will need a dash kit and a wiring harness. Be mindful that those two things are not included with this stereo since it's proprietary to your car. Once you get those two things installation is a breeze. It also comes with a nice dash cam which is pretty cool to see because usually these stereos come with a backup camera. If you're doing any type of camera installation I'd recommend tucking in the cable behind your panels or your roof. Installation took me about 15 minutes and most of the time was really spent doing wiring or doing an assembly of my Dash. Wiring is fairly simple since most of the things are color coded so don't be alarmed when you first see it. He will also get better sound quality since now your head unit is pushing out 45 watts to your speakers instead of your stock stereo putting up 25 watts. Right now the price for the stereo is 239.90 -$80 off coupon. At $160 I think this is an excellent deal and I would definitely grab it before the $80 off coupon disappears.

This double din stereo is a good way to update your older system if you do not get a specific model for your car. It comes with an installation mounting bracket that should work for most cars. All the wires have good labelling on them to patch into your existing system. There is also an in-car camera that has a swivel mount that can face inwards or outwards. There is not really that much for specific instructions but if you have replaced stereos in the past, it is a matter of hooking up the correct wires behind your existing unit and running the wires properly for the additions. There are a few front buttons for control, as well as a micro-SD slot and microphone/aux socket. It will not be the most powerful head unit out there, but good for normal listening in the car. With the current coupon, bringing the price just under $160.00 it is a good value upgrade.
