Upgraded to the S8 after using atotos previous model A6 pro for 4+ years. I've been using the S8 for a month now and it has been a great upgrade. The wireless Android auto feature has worked smooth and flawless. I also purchased the dash cam for peace of mind and it has great hd video. There are so many features packed into this radio to go over in a single review but they are entirely worth it. As I said I used previous atoto model for years and was sold on the brand instantly. Their customer service is alway helpful (time zone difference, but get a response/ helpful answer asap) in short if you're looking for a new radio buy a atoto. You won't regret it. They have many options/ features to meet your needs/ budget.

I put the s8 in my mk3 supra with an Ls swap, the built in torque app is now my gauge set, you can program any gm factory gauge parameters that you have sensors for to show up on the deck, and since it's dual Bluetooth, you can still play music from your phone at the same time, you can even hook up USB tire pressure monitoring! So far I have no real complaints about it.I've rated the sound quality at 4 out of 5 stars, only because I can't properly comment on it, my exhaust is to loud and my speakers need upgrading

Good looking head unit, and much lighter than the factory Shaker 500 in my 2007 Mustang. Installation was a bit involved since I had to trim the provided brackets to make the install work.After soldering and shrink tubing the wiring harness, it works. Not without weird glitches though. Android Auto would randomly cut out. I found out the firmware was made in 2021. I had a spare 32GB SDHC card laying around. Unzipped the downloaded update file to the card.Updated now, and Android Auto works flawlessly.The sound quality out of the head unit is quite good, and I am content, since time delay was adjustable, which was nice to be able to adjust the phasing of individual speakers.The head unit makes a popping noise when switching into or out of music apps, and hope it can be corrected in the future with newer software and firmware updates.Also great for datalogging the car's coolant, intake temps when I'm on the track.Also very easy to modify turn on logo, desktop background.

Unfortunaly i never receive this order, amazon refund me after 2 weeks cause the package is lost in shipping... I bought the Atoto S8 Ultra instead and i really like it. Amazing support from Atoto, Thanks Fannie for the help and fast reply! :)

This was my first time putting in an aftermarket radio, or head unit.The process involves picking a head unit that will fit (single DIN or double DIN) - your vehicle will have one of these choices, likely double DIN.Then getting the wiring harness specific to your car and your head unit.Then getting the trim plate specific to your car and your head unit.Then getting insulated crimp connectors for for joining the wiring harness to the head unit - the wiring harness will likely have both male and female versions of the connections for your car, and depending on your car, choose the appropriate gender.The rear camera (optional) is well done- a good upgrade. The front camera (optional) is nice, unless you don’t want a recording of your crazy driving.The install requires patience and attention to detail, so be prepared or ask a friend with those attributes.Helpful customer service if (when) you do get puzzled, and the products have worked flawlessly for me.
