I installed this in my 2008 BMW Z4 roadster as a permanent fixture. I had to Google a lot, but managed to do it by myself (I'm 76 yrs old BTW). I now have Android auto, a backup camera and front camera for a very reasonable price. Also Bluetooth audio for phone. Really pleased. Have had this for 2 years now and still loving it.

You can easily tell that Atoto P8 is an industry leader, from the quality of the material and packaging. The material and interface doesn't feel cheap (unlike a few I have used before).Other pros are already covered in its own description so I am not covering that. I am then only listing the other opinions to help others,1. It doesn't support wired carplay. Wired connection is very useful when you have multiple users. It is a lot faster to plug and play, than to reconnect through bluetooth.2. for similar price, other brands is already offering either front/back camera or bigger screen (or all of them). I do understand that Atoto has better material so it depends on what you need.3. The claimed offline map in the description is just the Google Map offline download, which is also available in other devices as long as you use Google Map. So it shouldn't be a selling point.All in all, I would recommend this device, if you don't need wired carplay, or ok without built-in cameras.

Absolutely love it. Works like it should

I’ve got A 2008 Land Rover LR2 and it has the original integrated stereo head that you can’t swap without an expensive additional brain box…annoying. But it does have an excellent sound system and driver. Using this turned a $1500 job into a $150 job and it sounds fantastic. If it doesn't sound good after you’ve hooked this thing up, its your sound system not the unit. I ran the cables behind the dash mounted it in the dash and it basically looks like its stock now. The Mic SUCKS!…like totally unusable. But i just use the speakerphone on my iphone. The mic is the only major fault. The fact the wires come out the back is fantastic for hiding hookups. Most other units have cables coming out the side which makes it impossible to tuck things away and hide them. So major bonus points for me on this one.Anyway I will be buying another one of these for use in my classic truck. I dig it. Can’t beat the price or functionality.

I’ve owned several Atoto radios and this by far is the best. Touch screen is responsive and i have yet to have any out of the box glitches.
