This is the 4th double din stereo I have had installed in my motorhome in the last two years. The first 2 were Nakamichi 6605 model they both would have to be reset after ignition was turned off. They both would have 1970 as current date. Next I tried Pioneer it was installed for 2 days and got the white screen of death. These stereos were around $500. So this time I bought the cheapest with good reviews. $189 plus tax. So far it has outdone the other ones.

Atoto makes a range of CarPlay stereos with the F7WE 7” stereo being one of their budget-friendly aftermarket solutions for cars with a double-DIN stereo layout. A standout feature of atoto’s stereos are their screens and this stereo is no different. Using mirror link to watch shows on this stereo is amazing. I notice no audio delay and the picture is clear and bright, even at an angle. Startup and connecting wirelessly through CarPlay is almost instant too! There are some cheap stereos you can get that have much longer boot times and can take a few seconds or even a minute to connect with CarPlay. This option is only a little more expensive but has a much more reliable connection and a much better interface. Installation is similar to any other double-din stereo install. The kit includes a pigtail harness (a connector for the stereo on one end, bare wires at the other) that you’d need to connect to an aftermarket pigtail to your OEM stereo harness. Crimp connections will suffice but soldering in my opinion is best. This process can be done at a table and doesn’t have to be done in the car at an uncomfortable angle. This allows you to keep the OEM stuff intact and switch back if you ever feel like it, with the 2 downsides being more work and a little more money. You may also need a stereo frame depending on your car. These frames are also universal and may require additional modification if you want perfect fitment. This isn’t a fault of Atoto’s design as they made a universal stereo to fit all double din layouts, but its up to the installer to get the pigtail connector and frames if so desired. Using the stereo is a breeze and google maps doesn’t lag or freeze like super cheap CarPlay stereos. If your OEM stereo is low-end you might also notice louder output coming from the F7WE, but this is a case-by-case scenario. Overall it’s a great stereo for the price and it largely improves the interface and convenience in older cars.

My daughter has an older car and she really wanted airplayShe is loving this. My hubby installed it for her. He has installed a few of these before and is a car guy - for him it was easy.She said the sound quality is great, she loves the rear camera. Teh touch screen is responsive and it's so much better than the old system she had before.

Le système de navigation et GPS a fonctionné parfaitement. J'ai été vraiment impressionné par cet appareil.
