Wireless carplay works very well - haven't had any connection issues affter a month or so. Display is great - matte finish and no glare. Very bright too. My only gripe is the mounting system. The pictures are a little misleading and the stick down pad is useless. I'm going to try and 3D my own bracket.Overall for the price I can't complain too much.

This is probably the easiest, neatest, cheapest way to add CarPlay to your car without replacing your head unit.The unit itself is bright, responsive, and the wireless CarPlay works like it says. It takes a bit over 20 seconds from turning on the ignition for it to boot up and automatically connect to my phone, which I think is pretty decent.The mount and accessories are all excellent. The main mount sticks well on the dashboard and allowed me to position the screen exactly where I wanted: under the line of sight of the windscreen and over the top of the stock head unit (2011 Subaru Outback). The single cable for audio and power is a nice touch, and it comes with custom adhesive clips to keep the cable neat - I have it running from the unit into the centre console storage where the 3.5mm audio and charger ports live.The manual is detailed and written in real English. You can update the software over the air using your phone and a QR code and that process works well.One thing that may not be obvious is that it only supports wireless CarPlay. The charger has two USB ports but one is dedicated to wired Android Auto - that port does not charge an iPhone and does not support wired CarPlay.

Very responsive touch screen, really good and solid wireless CarPlay connection, even better than some OEM offering. Screen with light sensor is a blessing at night. Sound through AUX output is slightly compressed but still very decent quality. Big plus for perfectly fit in to a Land Rover Discovery 3!

Its user friendly in reasonable price. However, major problem is it doesn't stick around, so have to buy sticky adhesive glues separately. Have 2 outputs for aux IN and default car output which is sometimes confusing as have to switch between these two. Touch is all right in its range. Did not have Back camera bit its seems like a lots of cables, so not worth it. Front camera is allright but only can be used as a security recording. Overall, does the work and good in its range.

I have only had the P8 installed in the car for a few days, so the jury is still out on its overall performance. But so far, the unit was quite easy to install using the suction cup to windscreen option (how long it will last in the Queensland sun will be another matter). Setting up Bluetooth for both my mobile and my wife's was quite easy. But I haven't really tested how well it will change from one to the other yet. Setting up the Aux option to run audio through the car's speakers was also quite straight forward (but obviously you'll lose the radio function when you do this). Using the P8's speakers for navigation is quite effective. But they are a little tinny if you use using them to play music from your iPhone - not that I usually want to do this anyway. Overall, as a navigation aid it seems to work well. The screen quality is quite good and the 7" screen size is all you really need. The instructions are understandable and adequate to get you going quickly. I'd probably give it 4.5 stars if I could - with a caveat that it's only been in the car less than a week.
