Previously, I had a simple wired-to-wireless Android Auto adapter that, all it did was to convert a wired AA connection to a wireless one. My problem with that device was that it was not stable. It would disconnect randomly.I came across the ATOTOZONE AD6 and decided to give it a try. Not only does this device work as a wired-to-wireless adapter, it also has its own OS built in, making my head unit even more capable than before.With this OS, I'm able to install map software as well as music streaming services, all accessible when I share the WIFI from my phone. With Android Auto, I always had a problem. My family likes to listen to music during long drives, but I usually like to listen to an audiobook during those trips. With Android Auto, you don't get that choice, your phone is tied up with the head unit.With this adapter, I'm able to share my wifi to it without using Android Auto. This means that it is able to stream music from our subscription services but I still have the phone free to play audiobooks without problems. The shared wifi also allows me to use the head unit for GPS so that my phone isn't getting hot doing so many things at once.

Works Great!

I really like this wireless carplay as it is easy to connect and setup right out of the box. Out of the wireless carplays I have had and got rid of, this does not have the issue where it disconnects constantly, so this one is a definite keeper. What I like is that I can play videos and mirror them to my car system so that passengers and even myself can enjoy movies and TV shows on the go. I use my phone as a wifi hotspot, so that is easy to do. Everything has been great and a nice upgrade to my car on the go.
