If your car doesn't come with a steering wheel control, then I recommend buying ATOTO AC-44F5 instead of ATOTO AC-44F8. I made the mistake of buying the 44F8 thinking that it was a "newer model" compared to the 44F5. The 44F8 installation for the receiver is more tedious due to dealing with the wires. The 44F5 receiver is simply a "plug and play" if you already own an Atoto Head Unit. Also, it has even more functions per button compared to the 44F8.Also, I am not sure if this is due to the 44F8 being an inferior product, but I believe there is some kind of issue where the clicks are not registering. There are times where I have to spam the "skip forward" button multiple times before it is finally being registered on the head unit. Of course, this could also be a software issue but I am leaning more towards remote/receiver not being that great.Since I already have it installed into the head unit, I have no intention of returning the product and will continue to use it. While it is inconvenient to use, I am simply happy to have the ability to answer a call using the remote which seems to register just fine when I use it.

La calidad del producto es bastante mala. El rotor externo se siente que con el uso fallara pronto. Si alguien sabe de alguna otra opción para control de la unidad ATOTO A6 👈🏼 Msg me please!

Works great. Have buttons on steering wheel on older truck!. what else can i say!

First what I don’t like:The volume control dial is very unpredictable, sometimes a slight move increases the volume drastically the next hardly increases, the same with decreasing the volume.Next, it’s very easy to catch the volume outer ring while steering hence sudden a blast of volume or mute everything, (whereas the main buttons never get accidentally pressed).What I do like:Very easy to link to the head Unit (ATOTO A6PF Double-DIN).Next it is very easy to program the buttons.So nice to skip tracks without your eyes leaving the road.I have the other buttons – Show Rear camera, show Front camera, got to home screen.I might change these as its so easy to swap them to try different configurations 😊Even though the volume is a bit flakey I still would recommend. I’ve only had the radio & remote installed for 2 weeks, time will tell, if something drastically changes, I will update the review.

This thing works wonderfully well, installation is straightforward, you do have to access the radio wiring so if you already have it installed you gotta pull it out again. Wish they had've told me that! Three wires, set up the key logging and boom! Now, for what they didn't do right. There is no instruction on how to change the battery in the control. They did send a spare battery which is great. By the way the face SLIDES off the back plate, it does NOT pry off. I see from the reviews that some folks have broke the plastic prongs off and I suspect the reason is they pried the back off instead of sliding it off. Wake up ATOTO! Next gripe is the print on the instructions is TOO SMALL to read. Yeah, I'm old but my eyes are pretty good, but not good enough.
